Personnel cultivation that will lead the electric industry's future!
We manage 'the Korea Electric Association Scholarship Foundation' to foster excellent talents who will be the future leaders in the electric industry and make a contribution to the nation's industrial development. Every year we provide scholarships to the outstanding college students who are majoring electrical and/or nuclear engineering.
In April 1970, the Korea Electric Association and the US-based Edison Foundation jointly held a celebration ceremony in commemoration of Edison's birth in Seoul, and in the spirit of this event, the Edison Scholarship Foundation has been established. In 1977, it has reborn as the current form of the non-profit organization and the amount of 1.4 billion won for the scholarship was given to nearly 600 students thus far.
